OUR SHREDDING PROCESS
Collection: We collect your confidential waste in lorries, which are alarmed and have satellite security systems. Our staff collect the bins and load them into our vehicles. Staff are vetted prior to employment for previous criminal record and other risk factors.

Vehicles are equipped with GPS satellite tracking systems, with real-time reporting of vehicle location (to the nearest ten metres) back to the office. Our staff have mobile phones to report difficulties and to keep in communication with the office.
Weigh: Your waste is weighed and a receipt issued.
Destruction: Your material is destroyed by large industrial shredders. Shredding time from collection is approximately 8 hours. The facility is patrolled by security staff and is under continual CCTV surveillance.
Certification: Certificates of Destruction are issued monthly to confirm the safe destruction of your material.
CONFIDENTIAL DATA DESTRUCTION CHECKLIST
1) Have you fully assessed the risk to your business or operation if your confidential information were to fall into the wrong hands?
2) Are you fully aware of your obligations and responsibilities under the new Data Protection Act?
3) Are you confident and satisfied that your company handles and disposes of its confidential information securely and in accordance with the new act?
4) Do you receive a signed "Certificate of Destruction" immediately on completion of your confidential shredding by your current data processor?
5) Does your present contractor have adequate insurance cover to indemnify you against financial loss and are they registered with the Data Protection Commissioner as data processors?
6) Does your present contractor dispose of your confidential information in an environmentally responsible manner?
7) Is your current data processor a paper recycling or security company?
